you gotta understand, I’ve got love for Dimlite’s music and I’m not going to be as sav as I normally am because the dude is as crazy as a holiday weekend and has the music to back it up. HOWEVER, I will say this on behalf of his new digi-single on bandcamp that you can cop right now….
“how the fuck do you expect me to pay $5.80 USD for 2 motherfucking songs?!? you don’t even need the money, you got a EP and full length dropping on Now-Again, that’s Stones Throw money! this shit will probably be on cartoon network within a week and a half and you can’t even sell a song for less than $3.64 a track? you wonky dudes make me sick as fuck. since all of you guys got hit with the selective memory bug (with the exception of a few) that has been going around, let me remind you that you guys are the only ones who have people in the industry willing to LEND A EAR to your music at this point. you get licenses like it’s buying weed, you tour around all year long just to fucking deejay a bunch of records that can’t even be mixed, you can drop 7 albums a year and NEVER even break a sweat in regards to the whole free/illegal download culture AND YOU DON’T FUCK WITH RAPPERS AS A RULE. why do you need to further justify illegal downloading by selling mp3s for WAY higher than suggested retail?”
