I finished this in 24 hours and it was a ridiculously amazing and verbose read. people always namecheck the dude for obvious reasons but his thought processes were definitely on some other shit. I feel like his world was based on a bad speed trip after reading Brave New World or 1984 or some other dystopian world book of the time (if there were any others) and period.  I also think that it’s pretty wild that these dudes future couldn’t go past the 20th century. none of them.

(I poached this from latimes, folks are going crazy over drone planes and how they lack pilots. WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK A DRONE PLANE IS?!? hey, it looks sick and while it will be ending a stack of lives somewhere, it will be saving lives somewhere else. in theory.) New drone has no pilot anywhere, so who’s accountable? The Navy is testing an autonomous plane that will land on an aircraft carrier.
